Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

Not at all. The quote tool only needs gender, date of birth, health self-assessment, tobacco use, desired coverage amount, and term length. Those six pieces of information are sufficient to get quotes. Your name, address, and full health history are collected only if you decide to submit an application.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

They represent the rates each carrier quotes for the health class you indicated. The carrier confirms or adjusts your class after underwriting and may change the quote. Nothing on this website is an insurance offer or a price commitment.

What happens when I click Apply?

You enter your name, and your chosen quote becomes the basis for your application, which then moves to the carriers' application platform. You can pause and resume, and all signing happens digitally. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), manages the applications.

Will I need a medical exam?

It depends on the carrier, coverage size, and your specific answers. Many carriers use accelerated decisions for eligible applicants without requiring an exam; your quote includes this information. If an exam is needed, some results can even improve your rate grade.

Is a longer term better?

A term should cover the financial damage your family would face if you weren't here: a mortgage, children needing support, a business loan. Higher premiums lock in the rate for a longer timeframe. Use the quote tool to evaluate 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years side by side.

Does this site sell my information?

Absolutely not. The quote tool doesn't capture contact details. We don't buy or trade visitor information. Our measurement is cookie-free and respects Do Not Track. Full details are on the privacy page.
